Hi People!
Well, what have I been upto this week? RESEARCH. Thats what. I have spent alot of time looking into various ways to implement the things I want into my game. I have alot of ideas revolving around and realised I NEEDED to create a ‘to-do’ list in regards to research and construction for the Flash game.
The fruits of my labour have arranged themselves as new tutorials, anything I learn I want you to learn too!
I decided to have a scrolling top-down view on the game, as opposed to just the standard flash stage. The results of this will be published in a tutorial next week to allow you guys to do the same. It’s fairly basic once you get started so should be fun for all!
I also managed to work briefly on some more of the character graphics for the cut scenes, which has sparked the ‘Beginners Guide to Flash’ animation tutorials coming over the next few weeks.
Thats all for game updates this week im afraid!
On another note, there are a couple of new tutorial writers joining in on The Dude over the coming week, one Author some of you may already know from popular flash forums! All will be revealed in the coming weeks so stay tuned!
